We will follow a 6 mile route, suitable for beginner cyclists, using traffic-free cycleways and quiet link roads. There is no planned stop but we do not rush. Costello's cafe at Fairlands park is open before and after the ride for hot drinks and food.

Our short guided rides are a great way to get to know the Stevenage cycleway network to enable you make the most of it for everyday journeys.

Children who are able to ride 6 miles and are confident to cycle in a group are welcome but they must be accompanied by an adult - they should be booked on as additional riders.

If you do not have a bike of your own, you can still take part by taking advantage of the special free bike hire for this ride from the Stevenage Cycling Hub. It is essential that you book this in advance by emailing [email protected] by the day before the ride.
