Stubbington to Warash

We will leave Stubbington via quiet back roads to reach Titchfield haven then follow the meon river up to Chilling where we turn onto the concrete path/lane passing through farmland with views out and across to the IOW. Our route travels to Hook and on to Warash before a slight descent to the river Hamble for coffee. Our return route is retracing the ride to Hook then turning towards Titchfield Common, onto Titchfield turning right down to Little Posbrook and the sea front back to Stubbington.

This ride will take in varying scenes and terrain - from coastal views to cycling past fields to the river Hamble. We will be on roads with inclines and undulations, plus speed humps and some off road on the way out.

We will travel on cycle ways and paths, quiet country lanes but also busier roads. There will be a section of off road which starts with a concrete path/lane. This is all part of the NCR 2 route.

We can stop when ever is required. Our coffee stop will be at Moody's.

Please ensure that your bike is in good working order, tyres fully inflated, brakes working. A helmet to be worn. Sensible foot wear for cycling. Cash or card for coffee stop. Also a lock for your bike.
