The 14 locks car park will be shut but you can park considerately on local roads. There is plenty of room to park on the local estate on Taliesin Drive.
We will follow the canal up to Cwmcarn forest drive, then follow the drive around up to the top!
This is a beautiful if challenging, hilly route of 20 miles with 1500ft of climbing but the views are worth it!

*Please note this is to the top of the scenic drive itself, not the visitor centre. NP10 9GN

A ride to celebrate the summer solstice and the appearance of the sun!
The route is on the canal path and on the closed roads of the forest drive. There is a short on road section open to cars as we ride up to the visitor centre from the entrance.
We will stop briefly at the top for photos and a quick snack.
We will head straight back to the start, those that want to can join us at Tiny Rebel which is just down the road from where we started.
Please wear a helmet, bring lights, water and a snack, a spare inner tube for your bike and the means to change it in case of a puncture.
