Meet at the Heart of Hawick and pedal out to Stobs and onwards to Cogsmill, taking a left onto Earlside. As you reach the end at Hawthornside, take a right down into Bonchester Bridge, taking it easy on the descent as you'll be turning left at the bottom of the hill. Continue onwards, taking a left at the fork at Hallrule Mill and continue onwards to the Swinnie, embracing the short climbs. Continue past Easter Fodderlee and onwards to the A68, taking a left into Jedburgh. Pedal through Jedburgh, Bonjedward and onto Ancrum, but take a right before the Ancrum junction to where you will head for a well earned refreshment. We suggest Out-There-Artisan, but there is also the option of Woodside. Plenty choice and both equally great.
The return journey is over to Ancrum and along towards Deanfoot, taking a right at the junction up to Horsleyhill and back onwards to Hawick.
Please wear a helmet and gloves are advisable. Wear clothing for the weather and bring some water or anything you think you might need to keep your energy up. Please ensure your bike is in working order, your tyres are pumped up and you have spares or tools relevant to your bike. If you are using an e-bike, please ensure there is sufficient charge, and should you have a mechanical, you have a plan in place to get back to Hawick.
We look forward to seeing you.
