An afternoon ride to watch the sunset from the heights of a new venue in the City, Horizon 22, at Bishopsgate. We have 8 pre-booked tickets for this date and time. We return in the dark so you need to have front and rear lights, and ideally reflective clothing.
On our way in, we cycle through Camden, King’s Cross and Clerkenwell. We will visit Horizon 22, which is currently the highest viewing platform in London on floor 58! Please travel light as we need to go through security to get in. There is a coffee shop upstairs. Make sure to bring your lock (or 2) as we need to park in the streets around Liverpool Street.
On our way back, we cycle through C3 along Embankment, Hyde Park, and finally Maida Vale. We aim to be back at Roundwood Park by 7pm.
If you find this ride fully booked, sign up to the waiting list as spaces always become available nearer the date. However, please do not sign up if you’re not sure you can come.
IMPORTANT POINTS: *Helmets aren't compulsory but advisable. *Check that your tyres are pumped and bring a spare inner tube and all necessary tools in case of a puncture. *If you have Covid-19 or have been told to self-isolate, or can't make it for any other reason, please cancel your space so someone else can join. *Only riders who booked themselves on the ride will be allowed to join. *Unless the weather takes a nasty turn making it unsafe or unpleasant to cycle, this ride will go ahead even if it rains. Dress for the weather and bring a raincoat just in case. *Please be advised that we video record our rides which are later published on YouTube. By joining our rides, you are authorising your image to appear on the video.
