Meeting at Bannersgate entrance, cycling through Finchley Park & Witton Lakes. We will join the Tame Valley Canal, which is a surfaced towpath, with brick lined banks (12 locks in total), high embankments in places (so great views). We pass by the Alexander Stadium through to Sandwell Valley Country Park, We will stop for a break/coffee at the Nature Reserve visitors Centre, which is a little over half way. After we head back, picking up the canal a little further on down, returning onto the same route, finishing at Bannersgate (Sutton Park)
