Led by experienced ride leaders, these rides are a great way to explore new places and to meet new people who enjoy cycling. They are suitable for all levels of experience, so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist, you can find a ride that is right for you.

Starting point

Oasis Leisure Centre
North Star Avenue
Swindon
Wiltshire
SN2 1EP

Head north from the Oasis Leisure Centre to pick up part of the popular Haydon Wick paths via the 17th century farm house. Follow the cycle path through Moulden Hill Park where you'll explore remnants of the old Wilts and Berks Canal and the Railway Path from the now defunct Midland and South West Junction Railway. Branch off into Peatmoor and follow the West Swindon Round to Lydiard Park (where we'll stop for a cafe break), Freshbrook and Toothill. Pick up the Western Flyer and head back to the start.

The pace will be set based on the riders present, with no pressure to ride quickly. New and nervous cyclists are very welcome!

Bring some money for the cafe if you would like a drink or snack.

Helmets are compulsory.
