About the route

A circular scenic route commencing at Longford Park. We follow the Bridgewater canal to Media City, explore Salford Quays and Ordsall Hall. We will come back following the canal to Stretford and finish the ride at Longford Park.
Most of the ride is traffic free on paved tarmac suitable for mountain, gravel and hybrid bikes. There will be a few short sections on the road.
We will ride at leisurely pace and have short stops to hydrate and take photos. We will have a longer stop at Ordsall Hall where you will have a chance to visit the site or/and get a coffee at the cafe.
Please wear a helmet, bring a bike lock, an inner tube, a drink and money for the cafe.
