A truly stunning ride.
Starting in Longnor, we climb through Crowdecote before decending into Earl Sterndale. We pass the hills of Hitter, Parkhouse and Hollins, before heading south and into Flash Village (the highest village in England). We soon reach the stunning Black Brook Nature Reserve, before descending via Ramshaw Rocks to the start of the Roaches.
After our cafe stop, we ride around the Roaches, with breathtaking views across to Tittesworth Reservoir, Leek and beyond. Later, heading north we see Gradbach Hill, before passing through the Hamlet of Hollinsclough. Here we enjoy a short gravel track, before arriving back in Longnor.

Grade - Challenging.
Elevation - 3500ft
99% Road
1% Gravel

Note.
Should anyone need to do so, there are three opportunities to shorten this ride, at 10, 17 and 25 miles, all reducing mileage and elevation.

Please bring: helmet, phone, card/cash, spare inner tube and any essential spares.
