The Great Notts 50 miles build up rides - Ride day

The rides will start with a fairly flat 20 mile ride and will build up steadily so we'll (hopefully!) all find the Great Notts fairly easy.

23rd June is ride day! This event is for the Great Notts 50 mile ride. Please ensure you have entry for the event before arriving. THIS EVENT REQUIRES AN ENTRY FEE.

Signing up to this ride on let's ride is just so we know who's coming, and we can ride the event together, as a Breeze group.

Please ensure you have completed enough of the build up rides to feel able to take on the 50 miles. A 25 mile group will be available, but leaving separately.
No one gets left behind, we will support each other to the end of the ride. It is not entry to the event, you will need to sign up for that separately at:

This is a series of build up rides for those aiming to ride the Friar Tuck (50 miles) at The Great Notts bike ride. No-one ever gets left behind on a Breeze ride, but I will try to keep the average speed at around 10mph (not up hill!). As the rides will be increasing in length I'd like to keep the long distance bum in the saddle time as short as possible to help with the saddle sore!

The roads will vary from paths to quiet roads, with the final long ride similar to the Great Notts route

There will be a cafe stop on every ride

Please bring a helmet, some water to drink along the way and some change for the cafe stop.
