Cutty Sark Gardens by the entrance to the Greenwich Foot Tunnel.
Do you fancy cycling into the night with Serotine bats, following a trail of flashing red lights and tea lights put out by the Hackney fairies? Well, you need to do the Dunwich Dynamo Ride. But for some of us cycling 120 miles overnight to the east coast of Suffolk is a bit much, so we are offering this abridged version. We meet at Cutty Sark Gardens and start off by crossing the Greenwich Foot Tunnel and cycling up to Canary Wharf. We then join the Regent's Canal cycle tow-path which takes us to Victoria Park. We then cross over the river Lea into the QE Olympic Park, You can also join us at at 7.15pm at a secondary meet up point outside the Cycle Surgery shop in the Stratford Velodrome. We then cycle back through Victoria Park to Hackney's Pub on the Park at London Fields (19 Martello Street, London E8 3PE), in time for the 8-9pm start of the Dunwich Dynamo ride. We then cycle out to Epping Forest. When we get to the Wake Arms Roundabout (CM16 5HW) we turn off the main Dunwich route and follow an off-road path through Epping Forest to the King's Oak (IG10 4AE). A further off-road path through the forest takes us to the Queen Elizabeth's Hunting Lodge (E4 7QH) and from there it is just a short cycle ride to reach Chingford Overground Station, where we can take a train back to London.
