Route rating

0 stars (0) Reviews

A 30 mile ride through the Staffordshire countryside taking in villages such as Whittington, Harlaston, Wigginton, Clifton Campville etc.

The route inevitably follows some main roads but we will mostly be on quiet back lanes and country roads. There are hills! Hence we described this ride as challenging but there are also downhill bits!

A stop at The Honey Pot Tea Rooms or Rosliston is anticipated.

Helmets should be worn. According to the guidelines issued by British Cycling riders must be self-sufficient, bringing tools, a puncture repair kit, and a spare innertube so punctures can be repaired. Money for parking, refreshments, water and some type of food such as flapjacks, cereal or energy bars should be carried in case there are issues or delays at the scheduled stops as Cafes tend to get very busy these days.

We never leave anyone behind
