the hub to corbridge for lunch, then back!

Setting off from the cycle hub (free parking, food and drink, bike repairs and rentals) we travel west on the national cycle route 72 heading to corbridge for lunch, we'll stop for a break on the way there and likewise on the way back, if sufficient interest we may make use of route 14 for a bit of variety! This is not a time trial or race but a steady ride of around 42 miles, please ensure you recon you are capable of undertaking this as there are a few nasty climbs along the river, please also ensure your bike is up to the task, carry any nibbles, drink and clothing you may need for what is going to be around 5 or so hours out and don't forget puncture repair, inner tubes, specific tools for your bike etc, make sure your chain and other moving components are suitably lubed up!
