Back by Popular Demand for the "Summer of Cycling 2021" The Mighty Loch Lomond Circular.

This route starts at the Leisuredrome in Bishopbriggs heads out along the Canal to warm up, before hitting the first little climb over Torrance. From here we join the Old railway of the Strathkelvin Way Railway. Winding its way up through Campsie valley you will be met with stunning views across the Glen, as we make make our way to Strathblane. Here we take a little pit stop before we head out towards Kilearn and past the famous Devils Pulpit. Decending into Croftamie we turn onto a stunning backroad leading down to The Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond. Here we will enjoy a 30 min stop for Refreshments There are many shops and cafes available did I mention cake. we will be returning following the riverside path into Bowling before joining the Forth And Clyde Canal and an easy level return Back to the Leisuredrome.

There will be a few stops along the way to take in the scenery, toilets will be available at Balloch only

helmets, suitable clothing and spares inner tubes and tools should be brought along maybe some cash if you are wanting anything in Balloch at a cafe stop
