This is an absolutely lovely 30 mile route from Cambridge and one of my favourites. Starting from the Green Dragon Bridge in Cambridge, we will head out into the Fens and join NCN 11, The Lodes Way. At the half way point, we will reach Wicken Fen, a National Trust site and National Nature Reserve. I've planned for a cafe stop here to refuel and help power us back to Cambridge. The route follows some off road sections, and very quiet single track roads so we shouldn't have too much traffic to worry about.
We will be riding rain or shine, so please bring suitable clothing for the forecast conditions. Please also bring helmet, puncture repair, snacks, water and cash for the cafe stop.
