Starting point

Lancashire

A great cycle route hugging the picturesque River Lune. We follow the river almost to the estuary and the historic but still active Glasson Dock. The cycleway surface is tarmac or hard-packed aggregate. Based on an old raitrack bed, it is almost level in gradient.
The distance to Glasson is a gentle 9+ miles.
Ribble ValleyJuniors CC is affiliated to British Cycling. Ride Leaders are trained by British Cycling. We particularly welcome young riders and their cycling adults.
Basic First Aid kit and Bike tools are carried by Ride Leaders. We recommend you have basic tools and ideally a spare inner tube to suit your bike wheel size on bike rides.
