A stunning route up through the Campsie glen to Strathblane. a section along the main road before turning of at Croftamie along a quiet back road before depending into the country park at Balloch. return journey follows the river railway and canal paths all the way back to the leisuredrome.

Over 50% is traffic free roads with the remains along some quiet lanes. with a stretch along the main road from Strathblane to Croftamie

There will be a couple of stops along the way with a stop over at Balloch for toilets and food. social distancing must be observed while stopped.

Helmets are mandatory on this route, Face masks and personal hygiene gels etc if visiting shops spare inner tubes and tools to repair punctures etc

This is a long ride but suitable for those in good health new to cycling
