The Preston Guild Wheel - An easy warm up ride for anyone doing The L - C - L ride the day after.

We start at Frenchwood Arena car park (if you have roof mounted cycle carriers park on the road by the school as there is a height barrier on the car park ) . We head out through Avenham park , along riversway , over blackpool rd and do a circuit around Preston , there is some roads on this ride but it is mainly on cycle paths , it is more suited to hybrids / mountain bikes , but can be done on cx/road bikes with care . We don't rush around as this is a ride social , we like to take in the views and have a gab as well as a laugh ,we will probably average around 10 mph but this is not set in stone , we all start together , we all finish together ! Please make sure you give your bike a check over the night before , and carry a spare innertube or 2 for your bike .
