We head down to the lights, right then left over the bridge and follow the usual route to Bolton Abbey via Nesfield, when passing the main car park we can have a powder room pit stop before turning left onto the gated road up to Embsay, then we tackle Barden road, this is a 2.2 mile climb before dropping down to Barden, picking up B6160 to Burnsall, over the river turning left for the climb to Hebden, then a busy road section Grassington on B6265
The cafe choice is The Stripey Badger Bookshop, Coffee Shop and Kitchen, you can bring your own picnic, there are benches down from the cafe. The bookshop is a destination in itself
