We cycle through Leverhulme Park and cross the old railway bridges to Manchester Road and make our way to the Linnyshaw loopline. Winding our way into Monton, we travel up the Swinton Greenway to Victoria Park. Then we cross to Agecroft, Phillips Park and the Outward trail to arrive back in Leverhulme Park through the Bradley Fold Cycleway. We travel through parks, trails and quieter roads or roads with cycle lanes where possible. We can see clues to the rich industrial past of the area on the route.
We will stop at a cafe in Monton, so bring cash or card if you want any refreshments.
Don't forget your helmet, no helmet, no ride. Bring spare inner tubes, pump and kit to change your tyre in case of punctures.
