You don’t have to be the next Bradley Wiggins, but you’ll need to know your way around a bike and be fairly fit to take part in our Challenging rides. If you’re comfortable riding with other people and fancy a fresh challenge, these rides are perfect for you. They start at around twenty miles long, and are paced at between 11 and 12 miles an hour. A Challenging ride in the beautiful East Northamptonshire countryside. Starting at the beautiful Kirby Hall, you'll travel along quiet roads on your way to the ancient market town of Oundle, starting point for this year's Women's Tour of Britain. Then you'll continue North along the National Byway, visiting Kings Cliffe and Blatherwycke before returning to Kirby Hall. Along the way you pass through many beautiful villages and see impressive stately homes and old churches nestled in the gently rolling hills.
