The Welcome Ride

15 A relaxed social ride through the country lanes around Portishead and Clevedon. This is primarily an opportunity to chat and socialise while riding and meeting new people. The ride will go at a pace that is comfortable for everyone and there will be British Cycling Ride Leaders at the back of the group ensuring a safe and stress free outing.

Depending on numbers the ride may set off in smaller groups and rejoin at agreed points. Halfway round we will stop at Heather’s Cafe to sample their excellent cakes and continue the social theme of the ride. After that some riders may choose to head off in smaller groups at their own pace, but the Ride Leaders will guide main group back through Kingston Seymour to Portishead.

If you are curious about club cycling or want to take your cycling onto the next level this is an ideal opportunity to test the water.
