Starting from - Car park at Duxford Community Centre on Hunt's Road Duxford, or if you are not staying for the coffee, cake and chat at the end of the ride then please park on the road nearby. Please remember your cycle helmet, spare inner tube, pump, water to drink on the ride and money for refreshments at the end. If you, or any of your household, are feeling unwell in any way, particularly if you have a temperature or cough, please do not attend the ride. Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time so that we can do our safety checks and go through the route. It is important that you check that your bike is fully roadworthy, good brakes, gears that work and tyres that are pumped to the correct pressure – thanks, CB22 4RE

Organized by groups in the community, these rides are a great way to meet new people, explore your local area and to have fun riding your bike. You can find rides that are suitable for your level of experience and interests whilst enjoying being part of a social cycling community.

Community rides are for more experienced riders in mixed groups and will be faster and longer. If you are not confident of riding in a group or in areas with more traffic then please try a Breeze or Guided Ride first where no one is ever left behind. Rides will generally be on minor roads and country lanes and will include more hills. Leaders of Community rides do not have to be a Breeze or Guided Ride leader and are designed to be more like a ride with your pals. We will always have a coffee (cake?) and a chat at the end of the ride.
