This ride is open to all women and children. Please arrive from 5.30 pm onwards, meeting inside Wylam Brewery for registration, the event will start at 6.00 pm with a group warm up before the ride. Ride will start in front of Wylam Brewery Tap, through the Town Moor and back again (please see map route).
Don't have a bike? Not to worry, you can hire a mobike for FREE! Booking must be made no later than 72 hours before the event, please email [email protected] to reserve your bike.
This event is to celebrate International Women’s Day with the theme of 100 years of women’s vote. With that in mind, please dress in the colours of the suffragettes (white, purple, green).
For our group warm up, be prepared to be led on a “march” around exhibition lake as a tribute to the suffragette march 100 years ago.
