Leaving the Leisure Centre we will head for the Greenway and follow this to the end at Mickle Trafford then continue out past the Crocky Trail and Walk Mill and head towards Burton, then continue towards Tarporley and reach the Shire Centre a short distance on. There are some inclines that go on n on but we won’t be racing and anyone can dismount and we will regroup at the top, I hate hills but I have ridden this route and it’s very doable and the cafe is a lovely place for a rest stop. this will be a full day out I expect us to return to the leisure centre no later than 5:30 pm.

A challenging ride due to the distance and the elevation to the Shire Horse Centre at Cotebridge,

We will start off on the Greenway Cycle Path then continue on mostly quiet lanes but there are a few climbs to conquer, we will cross a couple of busy roads but if the need arises and traffic is busy we will dismount and go across on foot.

There will be a planned 1 hr stop at the Cafe at The Shire Centre, they serve hot and cold food and do lovely Tiffen to refuel for the ride back home, they also accept card payments.

Please bring a helmet, spare inner tube, a lock and money for any refreshments.

We never leave anyone behind
