About the route
Starting point
The platform of the station house at Wynyard country park (free parking) just off the Durham/Sedgefield road at Thorpe Thewles.
An easy going 10-12mph up a national cycle route to Castle Eden then down to Hartlepool for tea and cake on the Marina, along to Seaton Carew and back to the beginning via Greatham and Wolviston. It will be mainly on cycle paths with a small amount on quiet roads. No big hills.
