A gentle but challenging 15 mile ride on quiet country lanes, in and around the three villages of Belbroughton, Chaddesley Corbett and Hill Pool.
Gentle, because we will be averaging 7-8 mph (maximum speed under 20 mph) and challenging because there is 900 feet of ascent overall (happy to stop and let people catch their breath).
This would suit people who are comfortable cycling 20 miles on the flat and are now looking to stretch themselves on the hills.
The lanes are slightly 'broken up' in places and we will adjust our speed accordingly to negotiate safely around them.
A hybrid bike with low gears is ideal for this route however competent road cyclists or fit mountain bikers would also enjoy this ride.
Afterwards, there will be tea, coffee and snacks available at Bell Heath Farm.
In the event of bad weather, a decision will be made before 8 am on the morning of the ride as to whether the ride will go ahead or not.
Please feel free to call me on 07583 007045 if you have any questions.
Looking forward to riding with you all :-)
