Join us for a 22 mile ride from Threlkeld to Greystoke and back to Threlkeld. On the ride we will ride on quiet country roads and will pass through Troutbeck, Motherby, Berrier and Mungrisdale.
The route is all on good tarmac roads and cycle paths and will be suitable for all bike types. . This ride will be suitable for those wishing to build up the distance they ride. It will also be a great ride for more experienced cyclists.
This ride will follow all current social distancing requirements and numbers on the ride are limited. I would ask that if you are showing any symptoms of Covid 19 or if you have been in contact with anyone who has symptoms of Covid 19 you do no come on the ride.
We will start from outside Threlkeld Village Hall and will mainly cycle along quiet B roads and cycle paths. Once we are back in Threlkeld we will have a well deserved hot chocolate and cake in a local café.
We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. Our aim is for everyone to enjoy their ride and have a fun sociable ride in the company of other women, build up confidence in our riding in a supportive group environment, as well as ask questions about bikes and riding, and make links with others.
Remember to wear clothes that are comfortable and suitable for the weather to cycle in. It is a good idea to bring a spare inner tube, waterproof jacket, a bottle of water and a snack. We always recommend that you wear a cycle helmet.
