From Ashton Court past Chew Valley Lake then climbing gently into the Mendips. Returning down the Whitchurch railway path to Temple Quay.

A ride through the strikingly-verdant lanes of the Mendips to the pretty village of Mells, where we can lunch on sandwiches sitting alongside the brook, or at one of several pubs and cafes in the village. 55 miles at a medium pace with some hills. This ride is organised by Cycle Bristol CTC cyclebristolctc.org.uk/

Minor roads with short sections of busy road and some sections of gravelly tarmacked lanes. Some hills.

Elevenses at Manor Farm cafe near Bishop's Sutton. Lunch at Mells. Possibly tea on the return.

We never leave anyone behind
