A lovely circular around western parts of the Doncaster city . Beautiful countryside and splendid woodland areas and not forgetting the fantastic and picturesque villages and magnificent country park At Thrybergh.

We set off along the dearne valley trail through village along the way then onto bridleways across fields to conisbrough we then after encounter abit of road through conisbrough we can hop onto the pavement along the busy Sheffield road past the entrance to the cemetery. We turn off head up towards the village of Ravenfield on such a beautiful bridleway leading up there which for most of the way is a wide open track then goes into a lovely single track trail . Once we are in the village of ravenfield we have to encounter a section of road before we venture into some magnificent woodland trail splendid colours this time of year . We cycle down some lovely trails weaving down across the fields and between the hedgerows truly amazing . We go thru the picturesque village of old ravensfield then onto Thrybergh lane , we then enter the nature reserve if permitted? If not we can cycle around to the main entrance to cycle to our main stop at the country parks cafe . If we cycle thru the park at a sensible speed and take extra care for walkers etc we may be okay . Our return journeys takes us back out of the main entrance onto some quiet lanes then onto a lovely bridleway up towards old denaby village, we cross the main railway Doncaster /Sheffield line the river Don the canal too crossing into lower mexbrough, we cycle along the beautiful setting along the towpath towards the station in mexbrough. We circle around the suburbs of the town heading towards adwick on dearne where we cross over the river dearne near the flashlands at adwick . We then follow the TPT all the way back towards the start point at tenpin bowling complex . This route is subject to change depending on conditions due to varying weather conditions, decisions made on the day .

Helmets are advisable, bike lights. Cash/card for potential purchases at the cafe , bike ke locks , tools and spare tubes and pump.
