Thursday Mearnskirk laps

We will ride a six mile loop from Newton Mearns out on the A77 and back to Mearnskirk Road. The aim is to ride 2 or 3 loops. This ride starts just before sunset - please bring front and rear lights. Ideally, front lights should illuminate the road ahead, not just let other road users see you.

1. Clearly we need to ride in line with the Scottish Government's guidance on COVID-19 at all times. Please do not leave your home to undertake exercise or outdoor activity if Scottish Government advice means you should stay at home because you or someone you live with has or has had symptoms of COVID-19.

2. Physical distancing between the leader and participants must be maintained, where possible.

3. Please also make sure before taking part that your bike is mechanically sound and bring your own food and drink, inner tubes, gloves, face coverings and hand sanitiser to help assist with social distancing and preventing unnecessary contact.

4. Please practice good respiratory hygiene during the activity (i.e.coughing, sneezing into a tissue or the crook of an elbow)

5. Front and rear lights will be essential.
