Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They’re up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour. Come and join us on this fantastic ride from one of the last remaining examples in Britain of a water-powered mill at Thwaite Mills along the Aire and Calder Canal to the iconic Royal Armouries museum in Leeds.  At 4 miles long this flat ride is perfect for families, new and lapsed cyclists.  With so much to see along the way before we stop for refreshments and a breather at The Royal Armouries this ride is not to be missed! We return on the canal back to Thwaite Mills taking in the opposite views of Leeds as we return to our start point. This ride uses part of National Cycle Network (NCN) route 66 and 67. To find out more about the NCN and other great places to cycle near you everyday, go to the Sustrans website (http://www.sustrans.org.uk/ncn/map/national-cycle-network).
