The car park at the start of the Tissington Trail at Hurdlow. This is 7 miles south of Buxton on the A515 road from Buxton to Ashbourne, and is 100 yards from The Royal Oak pub at Hurdlow.

The ride starts at Hurdlow in a large carpark (you need change to pay) and follows the Tissington Trail past Parsley Hay Bike Hire and cafe where you can hire a bike if you need to, we will be there at 10.30 if you want to join us. The route splits and goes down the High Peak Trail before leaving the flat disused railway and taking an uphill rocky track (walking is allowed!) and then a short section of quiet road before rejoining the Tissington Trail and a stop at Parsley Hay for tea and cake before going back to the start. The ride is flat and traffic free for most of the way. There is a section of uphill uneven ground so bikes with wide tyres are best, the trails can get muddy when wet. Make sure your bike is roadworthy. Helmets are recommended but not compulsory. Bring change for the carparking and cafe stop. Don’t forget…. Breeze are on a mission to spread the word about their rides, and need your help. If you introduce one friend who goes on to take part in a Breeze ride, you’ll receive a Breeze water bottle, introduce a second friend, you’ll be the proud owner of one of their swish Breeze Buffs, and introduce a third friend and Breeze will send you £15 of Love2Shop vouchers.
