To the Centre of England and Back Again

Come join us on a fun steady ride through the beautiful Warwickshire countryside. Leaving the War Memorial Park we will be heading towards the centre of England, remember to bring some money with you as we may stop at the Cafe half way round. Moving on into Meriden we can stop for a photo opportunity and refreshments before heading back to the start. The ride is a long one at over 17 miles and has a few small hills to get the heart pumping, perfect for trying a first go at a longer ride. We will start the ride at the entrance to the Park and Ride South near the brick paved area near the bus stop. There is no direct postcode for the car park, Sat Nav users beware! The route has a few hills but nothing to taxing. Many of the country roads are in need of repair and whilst there are no major pot holes care should be taken. If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour.
