Finsbury Park

Will you see the Ghostly Lady of Bruce Castle?  Try this route from Finsbury Park along quiet roads and through Tottenham's green spaces to Bruce Castle.  Look at the Clock Tower and you might see the ghostly form of Constantia who is buried in All Hallows next door.  Along the route you pass the model traffic area opened in 1938 and undergoing major regeneration.  For the more adventurous cyclists you also pass the mountain bike course.  On the return you climb to the top of Downhills and are greeted by a magnificent view over Wood Green to Alexandra Palace.  Well worth the effort in getting to the top!

This ride has been British Cycling assessed as an accessible route, meaning it is suitable for the majority of adaptive bikes. The route will have no or low levels of traffic, there will be plenty of space and will have a good surface throughout.
