Tough Cookie Cafe Challenge - The Tree House, Four Marks

Why not join us each month as we explore a bit further a field in search of a good cafe and delicious cake.

This month we’re going to the Tree House Cafe at the Garth Owen Garden Centre, Four Marks.

Our scenic 50 mile route will take us out of Fleet through Church Cookham and Winchfield to Odiham and into the Hampshire Lanes and we’ll make time to take in the views and admire the spring flowers that line the hedgerows. The route is undulating with a few short sharp hills and passes through Upton Grey, Bradley, Wield and Bighton before arriving at FourMarks for a well earned coffee and cake stop. Our route home starts with a lovely descent to Farringdon and then through the lanes to Binstead and Bentley before returning to Fleet via Crondall .

NOTE: This ride is for the more experienced rider who is capable of tackling some hills and sustaining an average speed of around 13-14mph over the distance.

We will meet outside Pedal Heaven Cycle Shop in Fleet at 9.15 so we are ready to set off promptly at 9.30. We are aiming to be back by 2.30. (4- 4.5 hours cycling / 13-14mph average).

Please make sure you dress for the weather and carry a rain / wind jacket. The wearing of a helmet is mandatory for this ride. Also, as we'll be riding for up to 2 hours before our cafe stop please bring enough food and drink to last you for the ride. Also, bring at least 1 spare inner tube suitable for your wheels / tyres and a pump.
