Starting from - Next to Hendre Hall, near Tal y Bont, Bangor.
Come off the A55 at Junction 12. We will meet at the start of the Aber Rd (Roman Road) between Hendre and Abergwngregyn - there is a wide section of road here before it becomes much narrower, plenty of room to park (free) and limited traffic. It is just next to the exit from the A55 on the west bound carriageway (so if you come off the eastbound carriageway you will need to loop over the bridge to the other side of the A55.

If you have been on a Breeze ride with me to Llanfairfechan you will have ridden past this point - it is just before the small hilly lane to Abergwyngregyn starts. LL57 3YP

This ride is quite hilly in places and is designed to be challenging. The first section along the Aber Rd will be familiar to many of you and has smallish hills. The challenging bit will be from Penmaenmawr up to the top of the Sychnant Pass; the steepest section of this is fairly short and it will be fine to get off and walk if you cannot manage it. The descent into Conwy is lovely!

We will return along the coastal cycle path so the way home will be flatter and easier (although the prevailing wind means we are usually in to a head wind when coming in this direction).

The aim is be cycling at a fairly fast pace and only stop for a short time for a quick snack in Conwy.
