This is a fantastic route along cycle trails with wonderful scenery.

Our route starts at Mytham Bridge Road and proceeds up the Derwent Valley Way trail to Ladybower Reservoir. Then we ride around the path that circles the reservoir including a brief stop at the Ladybower Reservoir kiosk. We then return down the Derwent Valley Way trail to our main (optional) stop at the Wild Kettle cafe. The ride time includes a 1 hour stop at this cafe. As the start point is nearby, people can leave the cafe whenever they like.

Helmets are advisable for this ride. Bring cash/card for cafe, bike lock, tools and spares to repair a puncture etc. Most important is bring a spare inner tube and pump.

We never leave anyone behind. New riders to the group are very welcome.

Note, to join the ride you must book on to the ride using the ‘Lets Ride’ website. Also, please check the website prior to the ride time in the event of ride cancellation.
