About the route
Starting point
Meet in the car park at Trent Lock. The car park is located at the end of Lock Lane, next to the Trent Lock Pub.
This is a traffic free route along the Erewash Canal and Nutbrook trail. Starting at Trent Lock we will ride to the Nutbrook Cafe at Mapperley where we will stop for coffee and cake before riding back to Trent Lock.
Helmets, while not mandatory, are advised for your own safety. Please ensure your bike is in a roadworthy condition and you have some basic tools including at least one spare inner tube.
