Tynal Tywyll - On Two Wheels

Starting from Port Penrhyn we'll cycle up Lon Las Ogwen cycle path to Tregarth before riding through the amazing Tynal Tywyll (which is part of the the cycle path). Up to Bethesda and then continue on the new improved cycle path. It’s cycle path and a single low-traffic road for this ride. We will return on the same route.

What to expect on the ride:
This ride will go at a leisurely pace and will take place in a relaxed, mostly traffic-free environment on risk assessed routes led by a qualified British Cycling ride leader. We want these rides to offer an opportunity to practice cycling in a safe environment, to all have fun and gain confidence riding in a small group.

What to bring:

• Your bike - Make sure your bike is in good working order with the tyres pumped up before arriving on the ride. All types of bikes welcome, including e-bikes.
• A helmet
• A drink for the ride and a snack if you’d like one
• Clothes suitable for the weather, including something warm for the briefing at the beginning of the ride and any stops we make, it is chilly on the ride back as mostly downhill
