Tyne Cycles Off-Road Social Ride

Taking in a bit of road, coast, track and trail this ride keeps it interesting! Aiming for a pace of 10-12 mph, but we won't leave anyone behind. Meeting at Tyne Cycles we take the coastal paths up to Whitley Bay turning inland on trails through New Hartley. Heading back to the shop along the flowing Waggonways through Holywell and Shiremoor. Lots to see on this ride - great views of the coast and countryside. This ride is suited to mountain bikes, cyclocross bikes, hybrids with thick tyres etc. Not suitable for road bikes. We'll do our best to look out for you. Please help us by checking your bike in the week before, and before you set out. Any problems give us a ring! You'll need a spare inner tube, puncture repair kit, a good set of lights and a drink/snack. Spare tubes etc. can be purchased from the shop before the ride.
