We leave Preston using the Guild Wheel for approximately 5 miles. After that we head out into the countryside through Haighton. Goosnargh and on to Chipping, where we will stop for coffee. We will return via Barnsfold, Broughton and Woodplumpton.
The elevation gained during the ride is 1500 feet.

Starting from Car Park 2 UCLAN Sports Arena off Tom Benson Way. There are toilet facilities at the start. Ride leaders Ian Walkden Bridget Gray

Although helmets are only recommended by law and not deemed to be essential, anyone not wearing a helmet will not be able to join the ride. Please be self-sufficient and arm yourself with spare inner tubes, bike levers and pump. Don’t forget car/card for the café stop. Please ensure you bring along a drink for the ride. Also check you brakes and gears on your bike at least the night before.
