A guided cycle ride particularly suited to intermediate cyclists. Open to both male and female riders. The route is remote and high in places. The back lanes are broken, pot-holed and gravelly. This ride is NOT suitable for beginners. If you are free and fancy getting out on your bike for some fresh air, fun and non-competitive exercise, join us on a fabulous bicycle ride starting and finishing in Glasbury (Max. 8 participants). It will be a circular route, using mainly quiet country lanes, with some steep hills to hone your fitness. This ride will be led at a social pace, with no one being left behind. All adult, intermediate cyclists, are welcome.

Plenty of opportunity to stop on-route to catch your breath, have a drink and enjoy the views. We plan to visit Foyles for a pint at the end of our ride.

Please bring a well-maintained bicycle (sports road bikes, with smooth narrow tires, will not be best suited for this ride). Gravel, touring and hybrid bikes with wider, more grippy tires, will be best suited for this route. Please wear a helmet, gloves and appropriate clothing for the weather, remember it will feel colder at our highest point, so make sure you pack a wind proof. It is important at this time of year to have a set of lights, for both the front and rear of your bike, although we do plan to complete the ride in daylight. Essential to carry a drink, snack, a spare tube, puncture repair kit, lock and pump.

We’re friendly, we love cycling, laughing and we never leave anyone behind.
