Starting from - Meet at the gazebo next to the Elgar Centre in Upton (what3words wash.wink.corner). Do not park in the adjacent small car park as the barrier may get locked without warning. There is usually ample street parking or use the big car park just up the road (what3words excuse.bumpy.hips - I promise I'm not making these up!). NN5 4EH

This is a leisurely social ride, aiming for around 11-12mph. We will aim to stay together as a group for the whole ride, and ride at the pace of the slowest rider. Please do not sign up unless you are prepared to do that.
**
Please make sure you are ready to leave on time, especially the leader!
**
The route takes us through West Hunsbury, Milton Malsor, Collingtree, Wooton and Quinton to Salcey. We return via Hartwell, Roade, Blisworth, Rothersthorpe, Pineham Village and Upton Country Park.
**
There are a couple of short sections on main roads, but they are wide enough to allow vehicles to pass easily. There is also a potentially busy junction between Collingtree and Wooton, but we can dismount if necessary.
**
Here is a link where you should be able to download the gpx for the ride:

**
Please ignore Komoot. This is NOT an expert ride, but I don't seem able to change that at the moment.
**
We will stop at the cafe at Salcey for refreshments after about 13 miles.
**
At time of posting, the weather forecast suddenly looks really good!
**
Please bring a helmet and remember to put it on (compulsory), spare tube and pump, and money for a drink. A lightweight lock might be useful, but don't buy one specially, as we usually have enough to go around.
**
Cheers, Richard.
