Velo Verde 10

If you want to build on your rides so far, or it's your first time with us, this one will develop your skills and stamina by achieving a double figure mileage. Meet Roy, your British Cycling qualified guided ride leader, outside the cycling friendly Caffe Velo Verde at the Eco Farm, Screveton, Notts. After bike checks and some warmup activities, we will take to the quiet lanes for a 10 mile ride through beautiful countryside. Your ride leader will do all the route planning and look after you while you build your confidence. After the ride, we will gather round the ‘social table’ in the Caffe to discuss our ride and plan the next one. Everyone is welcome as long as you can bring a roadworthy bike. It can have a basket, be a 3 wheeler, a mountain bike, BMX, or even an electric bike. Whatever you ride, you are assured of a warm welcome and a sense of achievement. You will know by now that it’s totally free of charge, although you will have to buy your own coffee and cake- but you will have earned the cake. This a friendly and relaxed ride where nobody is left behind.
