Please join me for this challenging ride including the Nebo hill climb (4.7km at an average grade of 5.6%). We start at Betws Y Coed and head out along the rolling B-road to Llanwrst. After tackling the Nebo climb we sail down to Pentrefoelas. Then on to the old Sportsmans Arms pub, the highest pub in Wales (although now sadly closed) and then swooshing past Llyn Brenig to Cerrigydrudion and back to Betws Y Coed.
Mixture of some A and B roads, and narrow country lanes.
This ride is weather dependent. We won't ride if there are strong winds (20mph+) or it is pouring with rain.
This ride is 'no frills' as there is NO café stop. We will have some roadside stops to have a drink/snack (bring your own).
Ideal for Breeze riders who want to challenge themselves and have fun! And those who are new to Breeze rides are very welcome. This ride is classified as ‘challenging’ and we will be completing the ride at an average pace of approx. 20kph (12mph). Please be sure you are confident that you can keep to this pace before signing up. We ride up hills at our own pace and regroup at the top. We never leave anyone behind.
