Views Over Erwood

We take the back road towards Glasbury and then climb up to the beautiful Fynnon Gynydd Common. From here we keep high and follow narrow, undulating country lanes, until we eventually drop down to Erwood Station. Some of these lanes can be gravelly and muddy in places but with care, we always find a good route through. We return to Boughrood along a mainly flat, fairly quiet, road that follows the course of the River Wye.

If you are free and fancy getting out on your bike for some fresh air, fun and non-competitive exercise, join us on a fabulous bicycle ride starting and finishing in Boughrood (Max. 8 participants). It will be a circular route, using mainly quiet country lanes. This ride will be led at a social pace, with no one being left behind. All adult women are welcome.

Plenty of opportunity to stop on-route to catch your breath and have a drink and enjoy the views.

Please bring a well-maintained bicycle, wear a helmet, gloves and appropriate clothing for the weather. Remember to carry a drink, a spare tube, puncture repair kit, lock and pump if you have them and bring some money for refreshments. A set of lights for both front and back of your bike, can be useful at this time of year.
