We will cycle along the Riverside Walk to Berryfields where we will join the Waddesdon Greenway all the way to Waddesdon. Following a footpath through the estate we will cycle up to the top of the hill before crossing into the Eythrope estate and coming down via the bridleway as the gated road is now closed. We will return on the cycle path through Stone, Fairford Leys and back along the Riverside Walk. This route does involve some hills, we can walk if needed!
This route mostly uses cycle paths, quiet roads and a stretch of bridleway. We will aim to stop for a take away refreshment break in Fairford Leys. It is forecast to be warm so bring plenty of water.
Please ensure your bike is in good condition, pump up your tyres, check your brakes etc. ensure you have a spare inner tube before coming. All riders should wear helmets. If you have your own hand gel please bring some. Ideally you will need to do your own repairs if required but I will assist as needed. You may find this video useful
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V66yzbrZxvY Things will be slightly different due to COVID restrictions. We are limited to 6 riders (ie 5 plus me) If you feel unwell, please do not come. If you are in a vulnerable category, it is up to you to decide if you feel safe to join a ride. If you need to cancel, or plans change, please message me as others may be wanting a space. If there are no spaces, and you could come at short notice, let me know in case anyone cancels at the last minute.
We go at the pace of the slowest rider. All ride times are approximate.
We never leave anyone behind
