Waltham Forest - Quietways and the Queen Elizabeth Cycle Tour - 8 mile bike ride

This ride's open to anyone of any fitness, we'll go at the speed of the slowest rider so perfect for those getting back in to cycling or just starting out.

Starting from the Fairlop Road side of Leytonstone station, walk your bike through the station underpass and mount up once outside the other side of the station.  The route follows a shared path before coming out on to Grove Green Rd (there is the option of here of using the cycle lane on Grove Green Rd or cycling on a shared pavement).  The route then heads through the quietways towards the QE Olympic Park and the halfway stop at the VeloPark. You'll take in a loop of Hackney Marshes before heading back to the start location following the same outward route.
