Stafford

Enjoy a ride along the waterways via the Staffs, Worcester, Trent and Mersey canals until you reach Lockhouse Cafe where you can treat yourself to tea and cakes! From the Lockhouse, the route passes over Essex Bridge into Shugborough park where you can see fine views of the house itself where the world famous royal photographer Lord Lichfield lived. Views across the park towards Cannock Chase are magnificent. Enjoy a route through the forested part of the park before a short road section back to the canal tow path and the return leg to Stafford.
